SHORT TERM PROJECTS
these are the projects we employ to raise funds for our long term projects

Our mission is to inspire and empower individuals to grow in faith, goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, mutual affection, and love. We are dedicated to fostering a community where these values are nurtured and expressed in everyday life, ensuring that everyone can lead productive and fruitful lives in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
- Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ:

- For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall
Faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, charity.
Love, dignity and consideration are the principles on which all short-term projects are built at The Peter Project NPC.
Everyone should be treated with love and respect. Poorer communities are often left feeling undignified and ashamed of their circumstances in the aftermath of some charity organizations’ projects. Not at The Peter Project NPC.

HARTIES FM YOUTH DAY
Harties FM Funday, in partnership with The Peter Project NPC, is a one-day event on 14 June 2025 in Hartbeespoort. With food, fun, and community spirit, it supports our mission to uplift families in need. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2
PANCAKE PETE
Pancake Pete Day, inspired by our commitment to community, is a short-term fundraiser featuring a delicious pancake feast. This helps us support our Hungry Hearts project. As Proverbs 22:9 reminds us, “The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.
HARTIES FM HOOPFONDS
The Harties FM Hoopfonds, a project by The Peter Project NPC, provides direct financial aid to individuals and families identified through Harties FM’s Hoofstuk van Hoop. All funds raised go directly to those in need. Support or donate today and help us turn stories of hardship into stories of hope.

THESE ARE THE PROJECT WE eNVISION TO HAVE A LASTING IMPACT ON SOCIETY
“Empowering every individual to discover and fulfil their unique calling, we envision a community where purpose, growth, and positive change thrive. By nurturing each person’s potential and guiding them towards their true path, we aim to create a ripple effect of impact, fostering a society where everyone contributes to a brighter future for all.”
Ideas like empowerment, calling, purpose, impact, society and future are words often used and thrown around willy-nilly without any genuine understanding or commitment thereto. Not at The Peter Project.
To us, empowerment has the same contextual meaning as the words of the great Jewish philosopher, Maimonides:
“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day: teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”
Calling, as in the words of Oprah Winfrey:
“There is no greater gift you can give or receive than to honor your calling. It’s why you were born. And how you become most truly alive.”
Purpose, as in the words of Fyodor Dostoevsky:
“The mystery of human existence lies not in just staying alive, but in finding something to live for.”
Impact, as in the words of Jane Goodall:
“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
Society, as understood by the late president Nelson Mandela:
“You can never have an impact on society if you have not changed yourself.”
And future as understood by the Futurist himself, Thomas Frey:
“Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forward!”
Our long-term projects for children are also aligned to observe World Youth Skills Day which is celebrated on the 15th of July every year.
“Today, and every day, let’s work to transform education. And let’s ensure that youth have what they need to build skills for shaping a more peaceful, sustainable future for all”

What we envision.
HUNGRY HEARTS
Hungry Hearts is a mission inspired by Jesus feeding the multitudes, where He not only satisfied hunger but nourished souls (Matthew 14:13-21). We aim to do the same, offering food and spiritual hope, filling both stomachs and hearts with the love and abundance of Christ.
HEALING WINGS
Healing Wings draws inspiration from Jesus casting out demons, restoring peace to troubled souls (Mark 5:1-20). We offer therapy and support for those battling mental health challenges, helping them find healing, freedom, and renewal through compassionate care and the grace that only Christ can provide.
WISDOM WELLFARE
Wisdom Welfare reflects Jesus’ care for the elderly, as He valued the wisdom of generations (Leviticus 19:32). We offer companionship to seniors, bringing warmth and connection to those who feel lonely, ensuring their golden years are filled with love, joy, and dignity.
LITTLE PETRA
Little Petra echoes Jesus’ love for children (Matthew 19:14), nurturing the potential of underprivileged girls. We guide them in discovering their gifts and developing skills, empowering them to build a future of independence and strength after school, with faith as their foundation.
LITTLE PETER
Little Peter, inspired by Jesus’ care for children (Mark 10:14), seeks to guide underprivileged boys in discovering their passions and building skills. Through this project, we prepare them for life beyond school, fostering independence and strength, rooted in the love and guidance of Christ.
